We had lunch at my sister’s house yesterday. For our contribution, I brought over some crudités. I got the idea to serve the vegetables in individual portions as opposed to all on one platter from a picture I saw on Martha Stewart’s website. Here’s how I did it.
INDIVIDUAL CRUDITÉS
I made the dressing with a packet of Hidden Valley Buttermilk Ranch Dressing mix. Just follow the directions on the back of the package. Then put it in the refrigerator to chill while you prepare the vegetables.
Peel and cut the veggies into sticks. You can use whatever vegetables you like. I used carrots, zucchini, celery, grape tomatoes skewered on a toothpick, and asparagus that I blanched for one minute.
To assemble, place 2 tablespoons of dressing on the bottom of each jar, then stand an assortment of veggie sticks inside.
That’s all there is to it! Besides being healthy, it was so easy and looked really, really cute!
Love the blog pinky! Can’t wait for other recipes!
